This is the last post I am making this year that is 2012. The Great Wall of India, Very very special and Punter retired from international cricket. Sachin gave a call in ODIs this year and probably in 2013 he will play his last test match. The Windies won the T20 World Cup. A great achievement for them. The great Tony Greig breathed his last this year. In this years IPL, Viru became the first player to get 5 fifties in a row and deserved it as well. Virat had a dream run this year as well and did well. Earlier this month England broke India's record by defeating them in home after 8 years. And..............Lot more as well.

Dhoni is being a selfish captain
How long has it been since
Gambhir has hit a ton? When will Sachin retire? Well those have been common questions. Heres an uncommon one. When will Dhoni be removed from captaincy? The selectors are scared to do so. All politics. How long has it been since he has been In good form? Forget about good, at at least fair form. When it has been a a long time since he has won a series for India he doesnt deserve the captaincy. And he drops a
lot better player than him Sehwag. He has no right to do this. He is just being damn selfish. Dhoni must give up from captaincy or he should be removed. He must be sacked for an year. If this doesn't happend and this rubbish proceeds, India are in trouble.

Dhoni no more who he used to be.
Dhoni, he is not playing his natural game, he is involved moe in contrevercies with Sehwag,Gambhir and Bhajji. He does not have that encouraging spirit to a new commer to the team. He thinks he is so great already but he hasnt acheived any great thing. He must be dropped as captain unless and until he changes his way.
Viru slams ton, Pujara slams double ton, ashwin bags 2 to make India top favourites.
India can easily win this match by an innings if England are dismissed below 321, but with Cook and Pietersen, nothing can be assured. Earlier in day one we witnessed a quick ton by viru, then on day two Pujara reached 200. Post- cancer Yuvraj is doing an excelling job. e scored 74 slamming 2 to the fence. Dhoni, Kohli and the bowlers didnt contribute much but Ashwin scored a handy 21, more than Dhoni and Kohli.

Champions League coming up, DD,KKR,CSK and MI are the indian teams.
Its gonna be great. I am supporting the daredevils, and u?
India, Pakistan,South Africa, New Zeland,Australia out of tournament, Its the Windies and Lankans.
Who would of even dreamt that the Windies would go through to the finals when there were other favourites like England,Oz,India or Pakistan and moreover South Africa. In the end the Lankans and the West Indians have done it. Well, no surprise from Lanka but lots from the West Indies. India were thrown out of the tournament along with South Africans, English and Kiwis in the super 8 stage itself. Dhoni's captaincy now being questioned, well then who else can captain the team? Yuvaj, who has just come out of cancer trouble? Viru, who does not have a good record as a captain? Kohli, who is on a dream run but still who once lost badly when captained RCB? India certainly are in a heap of trouble. India are not capable of winning out of the sub continent , well thats what most of them think. When India lost in the sub continent itself then they surely are in trouble. They will be tested against England this November......................!

Dhonis foolish decision, he pays!
Well no wonder india lost, Dhoni deserves to lose without Sehwag, just because he does not like Sehwag is not an excuse. The indian capt who should of been captain waste rather than captain cool, is being so damn kiddy. If i were the selectors, i would have dropped Dhoni and bought in Dinesh Karthik. Who has better record in last 4 or 5 years in all forms of cricket, its Sehwag not the foolish indian captain!!! If he drops Sehwag, he deserves to lose all the games he continues to be captain!!!! First the captain himself must be dropped. On the foolish captains face!!!!!!!!!

Another golden carrer comes to an end-V.V.S. Laxman retires from international cricket.
Today morning Very Very Special Laxman announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket. He is mostly known for his epic knock of 281 against Oz in which India claimed victory even after being put to follow on. He has an excellent record against the aussies and the proteas. Well, another great pillar which held the indian middle order together says its enough of job, its time for some rest, let another new pillar be built in my place and goes away from international cricket. India have lost three wonder batsmen out of out of five. Viru and Sachin are still remaining. Hope they stay for a bit lnger!

New zealand to tour India this month. Hope its going to be exciting! Vettori will unfortunately miss Indias tour due to an injury.

What good performances we had had in this cup. Kohli continued his good form, Viru fired in a couple of games, Raina played well, Irfan made a big come back and Dhonis feirce hitting continued.India completely dominated this series and made it better by winning the T20 as well.

Viru and Zack back for Indian squad! Irfan replaces injured Vinay
Virender Sehwag who was rested for Asiacup is back to the ODI side after a terrific performance in IPL. The best steamer for India,Zaheer Khan is also back after quite some time to the Side. Karnataka boy Vinay Kumar was selected but because of an injury, he is now being replaced by In-form all round seamer Irfan Pathan. Ajinkya Rahane after having a good IPL has also been selected to play for his home country. Praveen Kumar, Ravindra Jadeja and Yusuf Pathan have all been dropped due to under performance.Sachin Tendulkar wanted rest after a busy IPL season for him.Ashok Dinda and Pragyan Ojha are also in the squad. Harbajan Singh has hopelessly been dropped once more. Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni are of course in the side.Hope India clinch this series!

Today RCB vs DC: Do or die for RCB
Well, so we are coming towards the end of the tournament, just 3 more qualifiers to go, then we are in the play-offs. Today its going to be do or die for the men in red. If they win, they are in the play-offs, a loss will take CSK into the play-offs.Last match Gayle hammered 13 sixes and took RCB to 210+ runs but today, will there be a Gayle storm? Even though there was a Gayle storm vs DD, DD managed to get to 193, falling just 21 runs short, maybe if Viru was there, he could of got DD a big win. So RCB need better bowling today, if they should have any chance of winning, on the other hand DC have a strong side but , this year they have been a bit unlucky, can they upset RCB? Hope not!! Hope we see RCB win and get into the play-offs. Hope to see a gayle storm today and even a rain storm would do for RCB, cuz a point will take them to the play-offs.

DD vs KKR: KKR win the big clash.
It was KKRs day yesterday. They restricted Delhi to 154 and got to 155 with more than an over to spare. Viru and Warner gave a good start to DD but after they both got out DD were always in trourle. Irfan scored 36 which was the highest individual score by a DD batsman that game. Viru scored a quick 23 and became the owner of the orange cap once more. Gauti and Brendon gave KKR a good start and KKR always looked like winning the game.

DD vs KKR: Clash between the top 2 teams in the table.
Delhi have Viru in good form and KKR have Gautam in good form. Viru has a strong opening partner Warner while GG has Mucculum. Both teams have good all rounders, Irfan for Delhi and Kallis for KKR. They have good bowlers too. Dont miss the big game!!
RCB vs DC: AB and Dilshan star in win.
Another close game it was!! Gayle whacked another which went out of the stadium but in the end of the day you will mostly talk about AB De Villiers who smashed 47 of 17. Dilshans innings of 70 odd was useful.3 overs 39 runs were achived in 1.5 overs all by AB and Syed Mohammad finished of in style with a boundary.
MI vs CSK: MI take the game away in the last over.
Man, how often do u see a batsman whack 3 boundaries in the last three balls to help his side win? Once in 5 or 10 years? Yesterday was such a day and Dwayne Smith did it for Mumbai who never looked like winning it in the last over. It looked as if they will lose by over 10 runs but they won by 2 wickets! Last 3 balls, 14 was required, Smith, the West Indian who replaced the injured Pollard just played a rocking innings. He whacked 4,6,4 the last 3 balls and game was finished, good innings from Sachin also gave credit to MI. For Chennai, Vijay, Dhoni and so on played useful innings.

DC vs PWI: DC clinch the game from Pune
Good innings from White and Sangakkara got DC to 186 which always looked tough for Pune. Pandey went for duck but Ganguly stood, Clarke was looking good until he was run out in the same ball he was dropped by Dhawan. Steve Smith played well while Uthappa was giving him good support but after Uthappa got out it always looked tough when they needed almost 20 per over. It looked as if it would have been a tight first over when 23 was needed in the last over and Manhas hit one over the fence but in the end they needed 17 of a ball which is always impossible.
CSK vs KKR: KKR win in tight game.
Gauti again did well. The place for the hs run scorer is getting interesting. Gayle,Gauti,Viru,Rahane,Du Plesiss,Uthappa are all in the contenders list. Dravid and De villiers also might do it well.Anyways CSK posted a competitive 140 which was never enough and KKR did it in ease after losing Brendon Mucullum early in their innings..

DC vs MI: Mumbai do well in a quiet game.
Not much to talk about both the teams. Malinga picked up 4 and Bhajji did well with the ball too and MI won in the end. DC scored only 100 and MI got it in 18 overs in ease.

DD vs RR:Delhi win in last ball thriller!!!!!
What an end to what a game!!!! Goodness me, what a last over by Umesh and excelling 19th over by Morne Morkel!! They needed 2 of the last ball, Umesh bowled a little wide ball and Rahane tried to snatch a single but Ojha was too good, he hit the stumps and what a finish.Rahane, what a heart break for the young lad.He scored a good 86 but still he had to see his team lose. Rahane now owner of orange cap.Well played Rahane, but in the end it was Delhi who were the better side.

What if Morne and Irfan pick up the wall and Rahane early and Nadeem bowls some beauties? So i say its still 50-50!

Gambhir scored 93 runs which helped the knight riders to get to 190.Kallis also played well.Gayle stayed till the end but still RCB never looked like winning the game. Gayle scored a slow 86 runs. Not much to talk about the match.
CSK vsKXIP:KXIP win in last over thriller.
A good win fron Punjab helped them get to 8 points. The loss did not affect chennai much as they stayed at number 3 in the table. It was a thrilling game though.It looked as if CSK would of done it in ease but after Dhoni and Raina got out, It always looked as if CSK were in trouble.

sorry guys, was busy with exams so i was not able to give updates, i will from today!!
Many changes taken place in points table, awsome delhi and sehwag, i say that they will lift the ipl trophy this year!RCB doin well in past 3 games Gayle and AB doing well!! DC having bad times, and i say are already out of tournament!! Pune and Rajasthan are doin well and Chennai are looking good. KKR are strong. So the tournament still wide open!!
