Sehwag might be given Nudge but he will be back in no time.

And... The debate continues between all opinions between the greats, 'semi knowns' and commoners, will Viru get another chance? Should he? What are the possibilities he will? All players go through a bad patch and this has been accepted by all greats. But, some just dont want Viru in the team, those are those who like to create controversies and so on. In the press meet yesterday, when asked about the selection for next two tests, said that he doesn't like to comment and there must be balance in the team and the selectors will decide. Does this give us a clue about Viru ? Well, all players go through a patch and make comebacks but when you think about Agarkar, Kaif  and Powar, you feel a chill in your body. Even Dravid was dropped from ODIs permanently almost. But in the positive side there is      Tendulkar, Dada and all. So, there is high probability that Sehwag will bounce back in style maybe in the IPl, sooner or later, his abilities cannot be ignored. So, in the end same questions arise, no? Will Viru persist? Probabilities? Will he soon make a comeback? Nothing in our hand, answer to this is already in the tip of the hands of Sandeep Patil and Co.

Will sehwag persist in the test squad for next two test? Read on for more...

Out of form sehwag, struggling with the bat now and then has been failing since an year almost now. His last note able innings was against England last November since then he has been in coma state. But I feel selectors must give Viru just another chance, just two more tests. Anyways India can't lose the series so no harm in giving Viru another chance. Moreover Gavaskar said Sehwag must be respected as he has scored over 8000 test runs and it's time for him to get India's understanding. WV Raman, former indian cricketer also believes Virus capability of destroying bowling attack is useful and so he shouldn't be given a nudge just yet. Me, being a hardcore Sehwag fan will support him during his tough times. Dhoni has also said that Viru must be given a longer rope. But does all these extra terrestrial comments matter? All in hands of the selectors who will ,meet after the Hyderabad test for the selection.....

Virender Sehwag to lead rest of india in the irani trophy starting on feb 6th.Chance for him to get back his spot in Indian side after the cheater Dhoni took it away from him.

Sehwag has been selected as captain for ROI in the Irani Trophy against Maharashtra. This is a motivated call by the selectors for Viru who has had a lean patch. When Dhoni was asked if he would be available for the cup, he said no for then, but they never know. Chance for Viru to gain his spot back after Dhoni the cheater took away his place. All te best to Viru!!! Vijay, Dhawan, Ishwar Pandey also named in squad.

Lets take our memories back to 2008 when Virender Sehwag scored his 2nd triple ton in tests against South Africa

South Africa were all out with a solid 540 on the board with Amla starring with a 159. Then came India out to bat. It was Wasim Jaffer who was opening with Virendra Sehwag.Sehwag smacked his first boundary with a Backfoot drive on the off side when INDIA were 4 for none. The very next ball went for another boundary which was an upper cut.In fact, this went for six! He got to his fifty with a three runs, after playing a back footer.Sehwag continued to hammer the ball here and there. He hit boundaries even when he was on his 80' and nineties. He  whacked a four when he was  on 95. He whacked Ntini with a huge blow on the leg side. 100, for Virnder Sehwg. And the very next bal flew out of the park and went all the way for six on the off side, the Sehwag way of getting a 100. His next four came when he was on 117 as he punched the ball with his right leg in the front for spinner Harris. Soon Jaffer had to go after edging one to slip but nothing stopped sehwag from smashing the ball here and there. Next morning he came in and continued his style of playing. He got 150 with a four, the Viru way!!  When he was on 193, he whacked one for six even though he hadn't timed it well. Got to his 200, with a couple of runs after he played a back foot stroke to Ntini. He hit sweeps, reverse sweeps, drives to get to his 250. 250 from just 225 from the zen master! Nothing stopped Sehwag, he kept hitting sixes and fours. He whacked a six when he was in his 270's to spinner Harris.   He whacked a four even when he was in his 290's . This shows his fearless instinct. When he was on 299, he smashed a glance to square leg to get to his 2nd 300. Applause from everywhere. #respect#. Three hundred, Virender Sehwag shouted Laxman Sivaramakrishnan. Cheers from everywhere nd this was how Viru, the most fearless cricketer marked the feat!

Top five Indian test batsmen after 2000 1)Sachin Tendulkar 2)Rahul Dravid 3) Virendra Sehwag 4)VVS Lakshman 5)Saurav Ganguly

These players have been the best. Well you might ask, where's Virat? Where's MSD? Yuvraj? Virat has succeeded in ODIs and has come to the team just 4 years ago. Dhoni though a good captain, hasn't done that well in Tests. Yuvraj is ODI player as well. These guys will take the spots Ganguly, Dravid, and VVS in ODIs.
